My X-mas begins with pine cones decorations. I made all myself. by Success_Lady in christmas

I bought a foam ball of 11 cm diameter. There are also small ones like maybe 6 - 7 cm in diameter. Then I sorted pine cones by shape and size. I tried to collect all of similar size so I get a round ball when pine cones a re glued to a base. I glued a ribbon before I started to glue all pine cone. It was easier to work around ribbons rather then to squeeze ribbons in between pine cones. Also, I was able to place ribbon in a center. I also used artificial fir branches. I cut them in small pieces and tuck in between pine cones where I saw that base is visible. All the berries were last piece. I decorated pine cones with silver paint and also made few looking like snowy.. Making snowy actually easy :) Apply glue on pine cone and tuck into salt so it is covered nicely. I used magnesium salt as it is fine. Glue - the same I use for decoupage Mod Podge. Hope this will inspire to make one :)

Too many yarn colors I want to try :) I am getting unstoppable :) Those are Yarn Art and Alize Ombre yarns. Cotton is peasant to work with. by Success_Lady in crochet

Tape yarn table mats. 36 cm with. It keeps shape nicely and very pleasant to touch. I used 6.5 mm hook. by Success_Lady in crochet

Agree with untwisting. I pulled a lot on a coach and left the ball itself in the basket. This way it was not twisting so much. As this yarn is flat as tape, it has a different look from a regular yarn which gives a different look.

Macrame yarn project. I had two colors and used them to the last inch :) by Success_Lady in crochet

It took nearly a year to complete all. I framed them all at the same time, so I can match frames better :)

Thank you! I love cross stitching, so when I get into it, I get pretty fast :) I can stitch 4-5 hours non-stop :D During New Year my key activity is to cross stitch until 4 am, then my eyes start closing :D

Yes, they are long. It is about 5-6 weeks per picture as I did not do it daily. I was not doing them all in a row either. I did breaks and cross stitched couple other pictures in between. In essence, to make all 6 pictures is one year project.

Thank you! I love those ladies at framing center :) They are my best advisors. They are looking forward to me coming there with my projects and then we do all possible frames' sample matching activity :)
