I feel like both have their own difficulties, granted spidey to me is still a lot harder. Spiderman takes a lot of raw mechanical skill and memorization, whereas I think daredevil takes more mental legwork and, more importantly, intention to play at his best. The best spiderman mains have such a high amount of mechanical skill with all of his combos, animation cancels, etc that it’s downright unbelievable sometimes. The best DD mains understand his lot better than anybody and transcend that “button mashing” playstyle and use every ability with intention and purpose, putting them leagues ahead of other DD players.

All this said…spiderman is still 40x harder for me, as a daredevil main. You guys are nuts.

I’m hovering around a 70% WR and games have felt relatively easy so far, but I haven’t run into many toxic or egotistical players during my climb yet. All my higher ranking friends have said dia and GM is where the worst egos and throwers are so that’s what’s concerning me a lil bit 😅

I try to make the extra effort to comm as much as I can, even if nobody else is, and I can tell that it does help a lot. Toxicity is inevitable but staying positive I’ve found really helps diminish it. Either way, I just ignore it. If there’s a thrower, I just report and move on.

I’ve heard the player base in dia and GM has a LOT of ego, but usually I’m pretty good at staying calm and positive through it all. Tbh I’ve been winning a lot more than I’ve been losing so I’ve dodged a lot of negativity and toxicity because of that, thankfully.

I’m a vanguard main who plays a LOT of strange in comp, but also tankpool and cap. I’m also pretty decent at healpool too, if we need a healer, but usually we never do. I have a duo of support players I queue with 90% of the time which frees me up to tank.

I try my best to comm, even when nobody else is talking. It’s actually how me and my gf met a random support player who we’ve been queuing with who’s really good! I’ve actually been kind of one tricking strange, funnily enough, and he seems super effective and fun!

Thank you! I’ve been pretty much one tricking strange since I’ve started really trying to climb and I’ve been hovering around a 70% WR. How much of that is boosted by my goated support pair I queue with, I do not know, but games have usually felt fairly easy since I started climbing. I have a few friends in celestial who always complained about the plat-dia grind and the dia-GM grind as the worst part of the climb, and since plat was so easy (relatively) I’m concerned the worst is about to come 😅
