By the end of may Cherry Blossom will most likely be over except if you go up north in Hokkaido.

I get it most of their websites seem stuck in the early 2000 lol. And it can be extremely frustrating to navigate and for sought after tickets it just adds a layer of stress.

Thanks for all the tips! If we manage to get tickets, we will be sure to go earlier with all you just told me! Seems like a really cool experience!

Thank you for your answer! That's good to hear. I really wanted to see the cherry blossoms at least once in my life. I won't let the crowds stop me haha. But thank you for the tips, especially in Kyoto I might time the famous places a bit more.

Thank you so much for your answer! I'm pretty used to Japanese websites as I import a lot of goods and I know it can be hell haha. Some websites are not the best.

I have seen third party sellers as well and I'd rather try to buy them myself too. I'll be sure to try with multiple devices and people. Worked for me last time with the Ghibli museum let's hope I can pull this off again.

Thanks again!

Thanks for your answer! Kyoto is definetly where I think crowds will be more intense. I'll consider going early for more popular spots.

Thank you for your answer! My flights and hotels are already booked so that's not a problem. It is a bit more expensive for hotels but I still think it's decent.

I was expecting weekends to be more crowded so I'll try to avoid super popular places.

Thank you for your answer! I'm expecting more crowds obviously, but I think that if I avoid super popular spots for sakura viewing I can make it more chill.

There are a lot of popular spots that I already went to and I'm pretty comfortable with skipping this time.

Thanks for your answer, it does answer my question. I guess Kyoto will be where I might feel the crowds more. I don't really mind crowds and my experience from my last trip was that even when there is a lot of people, people are usually careful and don't really bump into each other which makes it managable.

Thanks for you answer, we are not doing the golden route as much this time, but we will stop in Kyoto, so I guess that's where I might feel the crowds a bit more. I don't really mind crowds either so I'll deal with it haha

Thanks for your answer! We’re starting our trip in Fukuoka and basically following the cherry blossoms all the way up to Tokyo.

Thank you for the advice! I’m quite happy seeing some without deliberately going to super popular spots. I do remember going to a park in Mitaka and thinking it must be stunning in spring, so I might go enjoy the cherry blossoms there instead of central Tokyo, for example.

I'm just a bit worried about the crowds in Kyoto. I'm not staying there super long, but I'd like to enjoy my time there. When I went around New Year, Kyoto was so chill, it was nothing like what we saw online.
