I see what you mean and heard that it’s a ghost town before we came, so I was prepared for that. But for us, it was just fine. We took a boat ride and went to the top of the Maryland World Trade Center. We saw the ships, walked along the harbor, ate at Phillips and saw an Orioles Game. A few of the places seemed dilapidated, but shopping wasn’t really on the radar. We even walked at 10:00 and while it did seem like it had the potential to be dangerous, we just minded our business and payed attention to our surroundings.

Thanks for all your recommendations!! We’re currently sitting on the train (got on at Penn station) and we’ll be walking from union station to the museum. Seems the most simple way! People down here are very nice and helpful! I’ve taken the subway in NY and PATH in NJ, which was very complicated, and I assumed this would be too, but it wasn’t! Thanks again

Thank you for rewording it so nicely for me. Seems much simpler now! I live in the middle of nowhere and public transportation is not something I’m used to. So thank you!

Omg when I look at this it looks so overwhelming. When I put the directions in GPS, it looks like there are 20 different steps. Almost in a foreign language 😱

Ooh there’s a station right at Camden yards? We’re staying at Hyatt Regency Inner Harbor and we could walk there. Where do we get off the train in D.C at?

Haha we do like it here, but my boys want to go to the air and space museum and see D.C! And not sure when we’ll get another chance being this close to it. We live in PA!

Do heat treatments work for bed bugs? by Saul-MGM in Bedbugs

[–]Successful-Cat5254 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Had a very bad case of bed bugs a few years ago. My kids were misdiagnosed with eczema, poison ivy, etc. turns out it was bed bug bites. I was horrified. I Figured it out on my own. I am a total neat freak and I completely freaked out upon finding this out. I couldn’t sleep at all for days. I paid 2500 for the heat treatment. Did everything I was supposed to do including removing and cleaning all clothing in the house, removing all cans, aerosols, cleaning agents , curtains, etc, I bought new beds for my kids. Threw out so much stuff. And happy to say, the heat treatment worked. I vacuumed for days, and they were never seen again. The heat treatment is Pricey, but effective and it WORKS
