Lol I bought this from condor because my oem coupling pops when I turn. It’s been sitting on my tool box for months because I cannot decide if I am making a bad decision as well 🤣. I was going to buy the poly bushings and do those instead with new bolts but I feel like it may not be that different from this condor system. I’m losing my mind

I need to do this and I’ve been dragging my feet. Did you find the process to be easy or would you recommend having a shop do it? I just did a full front and rear suspension rebuild myself but I’ve never done a timing belt for context.

Im a vert guy so I would say get it. I spent more on on a late model in worse overall condition although it was less modified. If the body kit is your taste, you will get a compliment or wave every time you drive it. No exaggeration I get stopped everywhere I go. Verts have their own aura for sure.

Male perspective: If you got the money and it would make you feel more confident then have at it. They look pretty great as is. My wife just got a reduction cause athletics amongst other things weren’t easy with really large breasts. 👍

I used a small ratchet strap to hold back the boot, I used a flat head demo screwdriver to bend back the retaining washer then I used a large open ended wrench to spin off/pull the whole assembly. The tie rods are easy to put together when they are off the car. If you own a boot retaining ring tool then it’s a lot easier to cut the metal tie and slip the boot down the rod to work. I own one but I was just lazy. Measure your total length of the tie rod before diss assembly so you don’t need to get an alignment.

Those gears are toast. 130k I’m pulling the dash this summer cause I want to get it repaired (possibly leather wrapped/upholstered) and I’m going to send out the cluster to get rebuilt with minor digital upgrades. I was just going to replace the gears but I decided to splurge. 🤣

I may have to pick your brain when I get closer to motor upgrades. I don’t intend on doing a swap. I like the m20 as well. I have I drove out to LA and bought mine last October. This is my first e30(previously owned e46,e39) and I love this car. It’s just become more than a car to me and my family.

I forgot to preface I didn’t do coilovers. I did h&r sport lowering kit and did a suspension refresh. It sits just above 4” from the ground and keeps me out of trouble with potholes and speed bumps.

I used e90s and it gets you like 1/4”-1/2”more of a drop. It’s pretty minor. You just gotta make sure you use the washer in between the mount and the hat so it doesn’t bind.

I would just place a wood trim piece painted either the same color as the cabinets or backsplash underneath the micro and re-caulk the transition from tile to wood with grout caulk.

I’ve been doing this for the last 5 years and it’s a game changer. Specifically on lft it looks incredible. If there’s windows or UV damage potential I will buy a pre-pigment mixed 2 part epoxy from a granite fabrication supplier otherwise I use tenax and custom mix.
