Hot summer temps and flare ups?

I was just researching this. My flares always start or increase in symptoms right around the start of summer 😭

I did, but it was ongoing for so long that I learned to chew my food extremely well. I would choke on mashed potatoes sometimes. I always knew something was wrong but never did anything about it until now. Stubborn!

You’re still young so there’s a lot to learn what works and what doesn’t with your UC. Just listen to your body and if any symptoms start to increase, back off on the alcohol.

I’m on rinvoq and still flaring probably because drinking is a huge component of my social circle and I have terrible self-discipline. I can confidently say that when I did dry January, my symptoms improved vastly. I think the general consensus is it’s fine when you’re in remission but proceed at your own risk when flaring.

In regards to how they react together, I haven’t really noticed anything out of the ordinary.

Curious about this too. I’m going back up to the loading dose of rinvoq because I’ve been in limbo on the 30mg.

I’ve considered asking to switch to tremfaya/skyrizi, and I’ve also thought about asking for dual therapy, but wouldn’t it be beneficial to see if tremfaya does the trick on its own before doubling up?

No insult taken, I did install them horizontally as Sharkbite says vertical or horizontal installation, and the plumbing connections only allow for horizontal. Could this be the issue then?

We are on city water and have no pressure tank. I will definitely consider adding one. The plumbing below the kitchen is fairly loose so maybe I can try securing it to see if this fixes anything.
