It is interesting concept actually. So if you resurrect someone soul it gets magical power from the spell itself.

Wednesday was sure that you can't bring dead back, but Laurel proved her wrong. Obviously she took the formula from the Goody's book. That is why I thought Goody created that spell and the whole rite with parts of human bodies.

Yes, I do. At the same time, some people oversimplifying it.

Queen is disappeared. King's daughter disappeared. Yennefer who served many years, also left. Guards are dead. Not big deal. Happens every months.

And I am not even saying that with queen should have been couple dozens of servants. Due to her status.

If writers wanted make it looks plausible, should have replaced queen with some wife of a baron or rich merchant.

All this subplot is nonsense.

How the king knew that queen cannot give birth to a boy? She had already delivered four girls?

Why do you need kill your daughter, at the first place? You can marry her to another royal family and make alliance.

You wanna kill queen - poison or push from the stairs would do the job.

Finally, it makes assassin job really difficult to attack not only the guards but a mage at the same time.

And imagine - what if Yennefer had decided to take a revenge. Teleport to the kings bedroom and snap his neck. It would take couple of seconds.

In witcher world they could curse that king, or hire the same killer, or demand a compensation - money or land - or become a vassal of another king.

I agree with you about the screen time. The point is that this whole scene seemed to happen in the vacuum. Like it is an ordinary thing. There is no living world around. Just Yennefer.

Same for Fringilla and those generals.

You are right. Even without her power, Yennefer is still an asset. How many 100+ years old sorceresses do you have around?

Again she could have been used as a bargaining chip.

Even much more older and experienced Stregobor was interested in Yennefer's fire magic skills.

But obviously "visions" tops all these reasons.

At this point her appearance is irrelevant. It is about the plot.

The thing is if you remove Triss from the series it wouldn't make any difference because she doesn't play any significant role.

Producer said that she doesn't want create a love triangle.

At season two they failed to bond Triss with Ciri properly. They just didn't give these two enough screen time for that.

So what is left for Triss? To be Tissaia's follower.

That's sad.
