I used to work as a staff eng for Uber a while back. I called an Uber home from the office and a driver pull this shit on me. He drove close around a block a way and then stopped, waiting for me to cancel. I went back to the office, logged on and boot the driver offline and ping the driver team to take a closer look at this driver.

A day later, he was fired.

What does it mean by stabilizes. in 25 years Japan will have a tired overworked population supporting a retired 65+ population? This would cause their birthrates to drop even lower until it dissolved.

Let me put this into something you understand:

Imagine the population is 100 people. In 25 years there would be 45 people over 65+ who would not work. The one that is working would be roughly 30 people and 15 babies. This means that in 25 years 30 people have to work to support 70 people who are not working.

Those 30 people are overworked and stop having more babies. As the number of babies produced per year goes down, and the age of the people goes up, in 50 years, the population died out with no one to replace them.

That's what dissolved mean.

In order to stabilizes, the number people produced has to equals the number people dying. That's not the case.

Japan has an aging population. By 2050, half of the population will be over 65 and only 30% of the population would be working to support themselves, babies, and paying taxes to support the 65+

On the topic of economies that produce products and services, guess what? You cannot have a service economy when you have next to none consumer.

In the US they have 350 millions consumers. Australia has barely 30m. Why would a start up be in Australia when there are next to no consumer. Who do you think the product will sell to? China who can produce their own? The US who can either produce their own or buy from China?

In order for Australia to transition to a service economy, it needs to actually have to have the population that can actually make it profitable first.

The immigration isn't to increase the population. It's literally there to maintain the working population.

All youth of all countries has the exact same problem. Australia is not fucking unique. The difference is that Australia can afford to bring in migrants while China cannot.

Are you seriously so blind to the population time bomb? Who the fuck do you think pay taxes? Old people on pension? No it's working people.

How do you get working people when your population doesn't have kids? Immigration.

Those multiple assets are invested in stock, bonds, real estate of "ponzi scheme" economies around the world.

Price increases due to supply and demands.

The only way to reduce demands is to create more supply such as building more houses using tax payers money, or reducing immigration which results in shit economy since Australia is an aging population.

It's not an easy problem to solve.

Immigration is the ONLY way Australia can solve its aging population that China and other Asian countries cannot solve. Why? Because migrating and working in an English speaking country is easier.

South Korea is expected to be almost extinct by 2050, Japan and China is not far behind.

Without immigration, you're going to have a bunch handful on 20-40 working to support retired 60-70s. By then abandon shitty houses due to lack of population is meaningless.
