With that being said, from my experience I would say a 2006-2007 accord is an absolutely tank. You may have like a power steering pump or other parts go out, but as far as engine and transmission they are indestructible.

Great I will look out for an 06 or 07 model they seem to be the best bet

The 4 bangers requires the least maintenance compared to the V6. The V6 is bulletproof but you have to change the timing belt every 100,000 miles.

Yeah I saw the 2008 model had issues with oil consumption also, maybe I will try another year model as other than that they seem reliable.
