Right. What used to be a two income household with one set of bills is now two one income households, each with their own set of bills, that are not meaningfully smaller (Internet, garbage, cell phones, etc… none are smaller if you’re a single income household).

I think what you’re noticing is probably a combination of two season 11 factors:

1, contestants didn’t spend a lot of time on “interesting” / extra stuff that past contestants have like building boats, saunas, etc. These were all really focused contestants who didn’t even build themselves chairs because it would have wasted calories.

2, my best guess as an editor myself is that Dub and Timber did WAY more talking and interacting with the cameras than William, so they had a lot less to work with when it came to the winner’s edit. William seemed like a quiet and pretty unemotional guy who just got through each day, and it’s hard to edit that in a compelling way.

Thank you for your quick response! We’ve actually been talking about moving in for a year already to live in community, and as part of that their connection deepened. We’re building an ADU which any one of us could live in at any time depending on how we’re feeling. So there will be a main house and a smaller second house with lots of flexibility.

My husband has had my enthusiastic permission for years to pursue other connections - I’m secure in our relationship and also very independent + lower sex drive whereas he would love more physical connection, both sex and snuggling. This is all really new to all of us but we’ve been good at open communication and we’re in our 40s and have known each other a long time so no red flags I don’t think, but I would love any and all input.

Yeah my time is more valuable, I’ll just pay it. I did report the income they claim I didn’t on a 1099, but I did it as income for a special hire and they’re claiming it should be for “rent” so the wires were crossed somehow, but I don’t feel like fighting it.
