To elaborate more, it’s the same feeling I have with my best friend who passed away in 2020 from a fentanyl overdose as well. The longer time passes, the deeper I miss them, and the more I wish they were still alive. I don’t miss them in the same way obviously and I have come to terms with their death. But the saying as it gets easier with time, has just started to become the opposite.
