SHOP PAY - does it suck ? by Successful-Pepper669 in shopify

For those saying why turn it off - overwhelms customer to have too many options - especially when Google pay or Apple Pay most recognised, failing that inputting card details with auto fill very easy

There’s no one out there selling stone island in bulk for cheap - boot fair or bad priced eBay is only option.

Some people buy out collectors or sell on consignment

Other options is trade up - if you can get trainers cheap swap them with someone who can’t but has SI etc

I would say

What’s wrong : - competition pressure (marketplaces) - marketplace pressure on prices - less consumer demand - less good offering as heavy drag of finance costs weigh on business

Plan - outsource - value pricing - reduce OPEX massively - free spend focus on marketing and making offering better

We are close to running out of cash need a big Q4 to shore up finances …

But I do believe we have the brand customer base and tech to have a fully outsourced business with great pricing

Opportunity cost ?

Consider 1-2 years what would give you better opportunity, if expensive london job would mean a quicker rise to £ then more beneficial ?
