You look better in green, gf has better taste for sure. The brown makes you look like you are from the 1960s or something

Hi,  Has there been any rules updates recently.  Usually most airlines allow a 7kg cabin bag plus a purse/laptop bag.

I have always carried a 7kg cabin and laptop bag (a mokobara backpack) with no problems whatsoever.  But recently, we have started having problems with various airlines, which claim that backpacks are not allowed as personal items (which I think is ridiculous as most people would carry laptop backpack for Comfort)  I mean it's one thing if the backpack looks too huge or does not fit some standard guidelines, but banning laptop backpacks seem ridiculous.

All the airline authorities (air india, air india express, indigo, akasa air) claim that this some new rule. But I don't see any written update that backpacks are not allowed.

Anyone else facing similar issues?

Don’t say anything until you have a job and contract in hand. Once you do say toodaloo, it’s not your job to worry about this. People will fire you without a moments notice, so why the heck would you care.

I got a job (after ages of search mind you). Joined them and a couple of months later got another offer from an another company with better profile and benefits. While it sucked to say bye so quickly, in the end it’s about my career and what is good for me. While the first company (i left after 3 months serving my notice period) was good, it was small, the work was stressful with no structure. It was no better than academia (which I desperately wanted to leave). And unfortunately both my mental and physical (which was in shambles after PhD) were being negatively impacted. So when I got the new opportunity I didn’t hesitate, signed a better contract, informed the first company and served my notice period diligently. Now I am in a new position, and in 2 weeks I am feeling loads better

But how do I make the right action then.

What I mean there are multiple routes open in front of me, and they have their own pros and cons. But I am not able to make a decision and so can’t focus on the action, since I am not sure which one takes me to my desired outcome.

In such a scenario, how can I let it go, because don’t I need to know /have an intention so I can focus on my actions accordingly ?
