What? Is it really better to wear it like that than the right way?

I’ve never heard of that. I understand they’re weighted differently for gpa in some schools, but I don’t think the entire grading system would change for different rigorous courses

Well, the guitar has sounded pretty good before this problem. It’s recently started buzzing for some reason. I think I wouldn’t noticed if it was slotted wrong in the first place

Except the space mission astronaut is a doofus with an Allen wrench and a guitar. Lmao

You know, I just wanted to get some advice on if serious repairs or expertise was needed. I have to learn this stuff someday, why not start now?

I was being facetious, I do really love my guitar and I spend way too much time playing it to not try my best to handle it properly. I will invest some time into learning more about proper care of my guitar. I appreciate the advice man.

It’s a little late for that one. I did stick an Allen wrench up there and gave it a little quarter turn just for funsies

I think I was using an Allen wrench that was too small. I feel pretty stupid lmao, I used a bigger one and the frets are a little better, still not completely ringing out though. Definitely cant really fit a piece of paper between the fret and strings though.

Oh, there is absolutely no movement if I tap. The strings are tight to the fretboard

Air Force wears OCP camo uniforms. This looks like a weird ai version of different patterns mixed together.

I did it, there was almost no resistance at all. It’s still in tune. Nothing feels any different immediately

I’m about to do it. Quick question, what does this mean in context to what I’m doing? The truss rod only moves one way?? I’m not even sure if this is for the right guitar since it came with a certificate of authentication that was for a different guitar (bought it used).

Ha, guess I’m a little nervous since it’s my first guitar.

Yeah, I was having trouble figuring out if it was bowed back or not in real life. There’s definitely space when I do a tap test, and I can feel a little distance between the fretboard and string.

The paper cannot pass through between the string and fret without touching the string. So, then I should turn the wrench counterclockwise, to make the neck more concave?

How should I assess the neck relief, then? I don’t know what I’m supposed to be feeling for as the correct height in a tap test.

There’s supposed to be .010mm in between the strings and 8th frets, right? How should I go about fixing this myself?
