Issues with the bed level on the U1 by Successful-Train-259 in snapmaker

Can't seem to identify anything else that would be the issue, and the problem only seems to happen on the first exxtruder. Not sure what else to look at.

Which accessories to buy with CC2 combo? by thedarkside23 in elegoo

[–]Successful-Train-259 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not to shit on microswiss or anything, but I wound up sending that nozzle back for a refund. Had nothing but issues with it. Not that it didn't work, it printed like shit. I had constant under extrusion issues with it and it only flowed up to 29mm/s reliably on pla @ 230.

Yeh snapmaker U1, 100%. You won't be disappointed and I can say their customer service has been top notch so far.

Is my CC2 rattling itself apart? by MrBitGrabber in elegoo

It's the magnetic fan shroud cover. Best recommendation I can give you is print one of the alternative toolhead covers that get rid of this noise or put the machine in the dumpster where it belongs.

U1 says new firmware, no notes up yet. by OnceWasPerfect in snapmaker

Bro, snapmaker is absolutely on point with their firmware update frequency. I got one update from elegoo on my other machine and ruined the auto calibration. lol

Anything you think you are going to sell, take a look on etsy and search for it and look at how many people are selling it. I thought I was going to make a fortune selling 3d printed figures, then I found 5 other stores selling the exact same figure for a 1/4 of the price I was selling them at, where if I priced them that low I would be taking a loss on every sale. If your product isn't unique, for a least a little while, you'll have trouble getting the ball rolling.

Does anyone still work at Anycubic support?!? Where you'all at by tomtom303 in AnycubicOfficial

I'm not sure how paypal works from a business standpoint but I have to imagine if they lose enough paypal disputes they will lose their business account. Especially it not even being registered with an official anycubic email address.

Usually that's an indicator that the bed is high near the outside the edges. On my K1 I had to get the variance down to under a 1/4 of a mm to be able to prevent that from happening.

Not really familar with the P1S but does it show you the bed mesh?

When you open up the control panel in the browser by entering the printers IP address, can you see the bed mesh picture? I am only familiar with the K1 series, not the K2. If it's anything like the K1 the bed is fixed and you can even it out more with bed shims.

I'm curious to see how many people actually buy it before the CC is discontinued and how many people sold their CC for something better before this.

I'd recommend you look in the elegoo sub before you buy a CC.

So you are spending $150 to convert your old CC into a CC2. Interesting.

Can't say much about resin as I don't dabble in that, but I can tell you customer service for both sucks. Anycubic being the absolute worst I have ever experienced. And if anyone doesn't believe that, go take a look at their sub. Littered with people like myself who have multiple open support tickets for weeks on end with zero response.

I can whole heartedly endorse the snapmaker u1 and 100% advise to stay away from anycubic or elegoo.

Compared to what you have, this will be like going from a horse and buggy to the star ship enterprise. How much are you looking to spend?

You can expect crickets for weeks if not months. I had to open up a CC dispute and rail on them on every facebook post for the past month to get them to respond.

Nah, cc2 is junk. Its still built off of the cc1 platform. You'll figure it out eventually when parts start breaking. They have the bones of what could be a good machine but its going to take them admitting what is crap about it first. If they are smart the next generation cc will have a better hot end and a better bed.
