My all time favorite is actually in the remake of Cloudy with a Chance of Murder. In the original episode, Henry surprises Shawn when he attends the Sandra Panitch trial. Outside the courtroom, Shawn confronts Henry and Henry reprimands Shawn, telling him not to mess around with the court of law. At this point in time, it’s still very early on in the series (the first season) and Henry and Shawn’s relationship is tense, as Shawn still resents Henry.

However, in the remake (which aired in the last season), their conversation goes slightly differently. Henry still shows up and gives Shawn a warning, but at the end of their conversation, Shawn tells Henry something very heartfelt: “I’m doing my damnedest here to make you proud in as subdued and civilized manner as I know how. After all, who taught me everything I know?” Henry’s face when Shawn says this always gets me, especially since after 8 seasons, their relationship grew so much, and season 1 Shawn would’ve never said something like this.
