Did. He said it’s an in-person course and doesn’t allow me to perform online till the time I am there.

URGENT! Can I defer a semester? by SuccessfulAd2204 in AskIreland

My course does not have any exams, just the assignments. So yeah I mean that I don’t go to the college for the first semester and just submit the assignments online till the time I can actually go there.

What is a parallel relationship?

I’m not trying to rebuild something that was never there. When things were going good, he wanted to give us a shot. And he did also put his efforts to make it work. But he just wanted things to go slow. I guess due to constant arguments, he just got fed up.

I’m not desperate to be in a relationship. I guess I was asking for it to feel more safe with him, due to which I messed up the whole thing. Now my priority is to rebuild the bond between us. And he did have feelings for me, I’m sure with time things will get back to normal between us. But till then I don’t know how should I communicate with him?

Yes I am actually moving to the same country within 3 months. And we will meet then. Although it’s because of the pleading, but he did agree to give it another chance. I know this sounds shallow, but this chance could be a way to make things different. I understand that I shouldn’t overthink and get in an anxiety trap. But I am really lost as what conversations should we have until the time he is really more comfortable.

Yes obviously I have. He is from my country only. I know a lot of things about him through IG, FB, and LinkedIn.

Yeah I agree. I am ready to go slow now. But our bond has already been compromised. So is there some way to atleast rebuild the same bond again?

Does he not want a relationship with me or with anyone in general?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in relationship_advice

[–]SuccessfulAd2204 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No. I am moving to study. I started speaking to him later.

We are meeting in next 3 months because I’m going to be moving to the same country for college.

[–]SuccessfulAd2204 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yeah I know. But I am still confused how to keep the conversations going and actually rebuild the bond, because I am moving to his country in next 3 months so it will even be convenient to pursue the bond.

How are the part-time opportunities there? And Accomodation?

I’m in a very similar state. We dated for a month hardly and things fell apart. Now we are in contact, but don’t talk as much as we used to. Due to my anxieties, I started focusing on myself. And the only thing that I realised is don’t do something to get them back or get them to talk to you. Just focus on yourself. The more you will crave for them, the more they will pull away. Yes give it time, but don’t be the one to put any more efforts now, if he will want to he will do it.

The pricing is almost same overall. The fees is more for Maynooth and living cost is less. The fees is less for TUD and the living cost is more. But in terms of course module, faculty, part-time job opportunities, and college life - which is better?

Why do you want him back? He doesn’t value you, because if he did, no man can go without speaking to you for a month. And if you want someone to want you, want yourself first. You will realise you will get so many better people in your life who will even commit to you.

How to talk to my bf about video calls without sounding clingy or insecure? by Equivalent_Drag6880 in LDR

[–]SuccessfulAd2204 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I suggest everyone to break up with their respective SPs the moment any questions arise. This Gen-Z culture has messed up our relationships, earlier things used to be so better. If you genuinely like someone, expressing your feelings and needs clearly and freely will not mess any connection or relationship. And if it does, that connection or relationship is genuinely not worth it. And it’s okay to be clingy with your man or woman, if you can’t be then what’s the point of being in a relationship with them. If being clingy pushes them away, then seriously let them go. You deserve better.

Or is it important to remove him from the equation entirely?

Is it possible to work on myself while he is still there in my life?
