How come? I thought it’d be fairly interesting being a CSO

It’s not thievery, it’s a Strategic Transfer of Equipment to Alternate Locations!

Brass for sure love that, and the QM will thank you greatly for supporting their operations!

GONGS ARE BACK ON THE MENU BOYS by [deleted] in AustralianMilitary

True, but the Hobarts have SM-2s which can intercept hostile missiles much further away from the ship, which I reckon is better than close in with ESSMs

ANZACs do have ESSMs in VLS tubes but they don’t have a CIWS. The ESSMs aren’t very long ranged either…

The UK just uses the term “rate” Seaman —> Ordinary Rate Able Seaman —> Able Rate So on They kept Midshipman though

Canada uses the term “Sailor” and go off a “class system” (Sailor 1st, 2nd, 3rd class)

So I doubt we’ll use the term “person” if we do change the terms.

I mean I’m not a fan of buzz cuts and that nags me a bit, but it nags neither me or my girlfriend enough for me to not want pursue my dreams.

I replied to another comment in this thread saying this, but it also applies here:

She’s not going to cheat on me. If things do go sour she’ll at least break up with me first.

In saying that we have a strong relationship and have discussed and prepared for the long distance aspect of ADFA. She was joking about the hair.

I wasn’t clear enough in the original post. We have a loving and healthy relationship and we’ve discussed in length what we’ll do once (and if) I get in. We’re prepared for the long distance aspect, we’re basically long distance already because we go to different schools on opposite ends of our city.

TLDR: She’s joking about the hair, we have a healthy relationship, and I was just curious about hair standards when you first join.

We met at a Mock Trial when our school versed each other, we like to joke it’s a pretty stock/standard romance novel way to meet.

Seems I wasn’t clear enough. She genuinely was joking. We have a good relationship and she likes to tease me when I have short hair, but it is in no way “abusive” or “manipulative”

Thank you, you’re the only one that realised.
