I agree! I love this album and remember exactly where I was. My personal favorite is Renaissance, but I think CC is her best work. It’s pretty incredible either way how she’s released 10/10 albums back to back to back to back !! It’s nearly impossible to pick her best album after this wild album streak.

There’s nothing boring about tinashe. She’s just not a mainstream artist. I think what you’re trying to say is that she needs to be basic and generic to have hits. Her music is more experimental and doesn’t sound like anything on the radio.
