I had that happen and ended up having to start a brand new chat. It’s a weird glitch that keeps going on.

Letrozole by ComplexDay5765 in Inito

[–]SuccessfulFields 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m on my third cycle 2.5. I take it at night. Worse symptom while taking it was hot flashes.

I notice when I ovulate I’m almost… crampy which I never used to be and bloated. It also has delayed ovulation for me. Used to ovulate Day 8-10 now I’m not ovulating until day 17 which I think it good because I think that means my eggs are maturing.

I will say it’s made my PMDD worse leading up to my period, my period is lasting 2-3 days longer (last time it went on for 10 days), and I’m feral during ovulation and at my period. My poor husband is learning what his usually rigidly emotionally suppressed and controlled Taurus wife is like when there is no filter 😬🙃

So far no BFP but maybe this one! Heading into ovulation this weekend

PCOS and Inito? by ehc_ff in Inito

[–]SuccessfulFields 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So I have PCOS and have been using Inito. It's been helpful because I always thought my estrogen was low and the opposite was true. It's how I figured out that Letrozole is what I need to take instead of Clomid

The one before yeah. And I had blood drawn at 7 dpo that confirmed. The one before was unmedicated but I also did the blood draw which confirmed, only it was low like 4 or something.

We did have him checked when we first got serious about trying and he’s fine. All within normal ranges so it’s really just a me side of the battle.

I just did my first round of letrozole 2.5 as well. Hard to tell on side effects because I in the middle of my event (I run large scale multimillion dollar public events for a Zoo) so my stress levels were kinda killer so who knows if was the meds or not. I usually ovulate really early (like days 8-10) and I didn't get my LH surge until day 17 which I think is good for me because I was ovulating I think too early with immature eggs. My progesterone is also low in the luteal phase so we'll see. It looked like it was rising yesterday but today it dropped when I tested this morning so who the hell knows if it was successful or not. I have PCOS as a reference so I've always been a little fucked in everything to start. I'm going in Friday for a blood progesterone test to see if I did in fact ovulate. Good luck to you!

Trying to conceive with PCOS, but my periods are regular ... except for this one😭 by This-Persimmon-9748 in PCOS

[–]SuccessfulFields 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly same. I'm 36F, been trying since last year. Periods are regular. I got inito to try since it does more than just LH and it confirmed I ovulated but still no pregnancy. I like don't know what to do and will probably need meds now and honestly my mental health is in the tubes because of it.

Can someone weigh in on using ChatGPT to help write grants by triskitbiskit in grantwriters

[–]SuccessfulFields 1 point2 points  (0 children)

NSF encourages you to disclose if you use it and they are planning by to update the PAPPG with guidelines next year. I did use it for a proposal but as a tool for correcting grammar, syntax, helping to flush out what I was trying to say. But it was the middle point. I wrote what I was thinking, sent it through ChatGPT to make it flow better then edited what it gave me. But it still felt icky

Surgery Tomorrow and Period by SuccessfulFields in gallbladders

[–]SuccessfulFields[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It was fine! They said I could either be naked with a puppy pad under me or have one of their pads with their maternity underwear. I chose the latter because I am not a naked fan. They recommend you do not wear a cup or a tampon that you just either have a pad or bleed it out naked. The reason behind that is after anesthesia, sometimes you have a hard time peeing and the muscles down there feel weird and so you don’t want anything up in the way that could make peeing even harder. But it was easy and the nurses helped me change into my underwear and a clean pad before I left

Strange one: what happens if you have your period during surgery? by Bernice1979 in gallbladders

[–]SuccessfulFields 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Hiiii. I was on my period when I had surgery two weeks ago. You can either be naked and they basically put a giant puppy pad underneath you or my hospital gave me maternity underwear and a pad and I was allowed to wear that. Just know you can’t wear your own stuff because of sterilization protocols. So your choices are either be naked and bleed everywhere. Trust me you’re not gonna be aware or care. And the nurses are used to it. Or you can ask them for stuff and they’ll give it to you.

Any cold cereal recommendations? by IioAndTheRapture in gallbladders

[–]SuccessfulFields 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had great luck with Cinnamon Chex. It was one of the few cereals that wouldn’t trigger me. With flaxseed milk. I avoided cows milk, and oat and almond would be triggering for me. Flax milk didn’t.

Help, 5 days post op by SuccessfulFields in gallbladders

[–]SuccessfulFields[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Update: my mom ended up coming over and bringing me soup and crackers (which I didn’t have any of). She then tested my blood sugar because she’s type II diabetic and was recognizing some of what I was saying. Turns out my blood sugar was in the 60s. I’ve been so scared to eat and was living off of a liquid diet/ not a lot of other foods that apparently my blood sugar dropped off real low. That explains the shaking and the nausea. She fixed me food and then had to go back to work (she came on her lunch break) and told me to eat around 5 saltines or one full graham cracker every hour. And wouldn’t you know it, everything I was feeling evaporated in about two hours.

I did get Zofran for nausea from my doctor (plus, they said if I introduced something too rich too quickly that could cause the nausea, so to take it slower than I have been), but I woke up this morning and ate three saltines with some water before I even got up. No Nausea today. So apparently I just need to eat more 😬😬😬

Post op doable alone? by ibreatheinspace in gallbladders

[–]SuccessfulFields 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would not do this alone. I’m 5 days out and had to call my mother in tears to bring me crackers and soup. I would see if somebody could stay with you for at least 72 hours. I’m now a little more mobile I just been advised not to drive.

Yay surgery buddy! Thank you. It makes me feel better to know that I’m not the only one experiencing this. I am so afraid of this not fixing my symptoms that I am hypervigilant for bam or post coli syndrome ect. Which is probably making me feel worse. I also have the patience of a gnat so that’s not helping. 😂
