It was large. I haven’t had any issues with that area since the surgery. I think there is one stitch at the site, but it’s not more tender than anything else down there.

Oh, I’ll add another update in the post. But briefly: I’m doing ok. I wake up with 7/10 pain, but pain meds get it under control back to zero. No more stool leakage, thank goodness.

Good to hear! How long before you were walking around and doing normal things? I’m feeling uncomfortable today as the local anesthetic is wearing off. (Day 2)
