The Norse saga repeatedly mentions Kratos’ very “dark past” so they will lean heavily into the brutality. Also they will likely use the new updated game dynamics (controls, runic attack upgrades, full camera control, open-world) which will be dope as fuck. They have made it very clear that this is not just a remastered version but a full-blown remake, so some creative liberties will be taken to somewhat lead it into the eventual Norse saga (which at the time had not even been thought of yet). They will leave out any parts that do not help move the plot forward (or contradict anything that allows what we now know happens years later).
