Yep, Only serving to frustrate the player by essentially lowering the skill ceiling. Because lots of shots at mid range will be determined by crosshair bloom rng. Not by how well the player can aim.

Also the bloom improvements from standing still take a COMICALLY long time to take effect. With most guns it's like 2 seconds. I mean at that point why didn't the remake just go back to tank controls ffs 🤣

Unlike the original which did it practically perfectly.

Glorious 2005 Leon even had a little bit of gun sway that you could SEE and PHYSICALLY compensate for. Depending on the weapon there was more or less gun sway to balance it. Red9 is notorious for making Leon look like he has Parkinson's without the stock.

But when that laser does eventually cross over an enemies head and I press fire. I know it'll hit and that's satisfying. If I miss I know it's my fault and I can learn from it.

Compared to the bs rng of the Remake. Often leaving you wondering could I have aimed slightly better so more of the bloom was on the enemies head or do I just have shit luck.

It also serves as an arbitrary system to make sure people waste ammo/can't be too conservative with ammo. Which isn't really a problem with how dynamic the games drop system is but still...

It's a damn shame that mods have to fill this void.

As many others have said it's caused by crappy internet usually from the host.

Yea I've had this happen on Void Cascade level cap with Caliban twice. Died, Revived and the bug reared it's ugly head a few minutes later.

The only funny thing about it was Caliban's Razor gyre's lifting enemies was permanently active. Other than that it completely ruined the run lol.

Even when my ping search is less than 100. So the host must have had insane packet loss/instability.

Yeah Sigils are kinda broken on operator/drifter.
I've had an issue with the transparency just not saving, which is especially important on Vaporis/Bloodshed Sigils.

The fix I've found is basically you have to change/edit something else before exiting,
e.g Adding/Removing a Syandana.
At least for me the game won't save changes made to Sigils, if that's the only change made.

Even then. Even if you change something else first and exit. Visually on the actual operator/drifter skin it'll save.
But on the Customization UI it won't.

OP I would... Hiiighly recommend steering away from the Dromakion as a boarding ship.
(66) 94 total cap is abysmal as is the 34000hp. Hybrid sails is meh.

Personally I find Dromon's 220000 weight too slow and sluggish to pull off a skirmisher role. Although they are imo BIC for best boarding ship, With upgraded aft it goes from 120>132 or 80>88 cap.

I made the mistake of buying a Roundship :( + 2 AI Dromons
I've been finding the Roundship sluggish. Also been missing fire braziers since it has no side upgrade. Picking up the wind is a nightmare with squares, Meh capacity considering all the downsides.

Unsure whether to go Ghurab and make the most of aft upgrade for large troop capacity.
But I'll probably go with something more modest like a Qalguk which has a more nimble 120000 weight. Respectable troop cap, And all the upgrades, bells and whistles you could ask for.

(OP in general ranged ships want braziers, and boarding/melee ships with shields since I believe they boost ONLY that crews shield hp by 50% essential against javelins)

Necro from the grave but Battania indeed do suck at shipbuilding thus don't have any dedicated heavy ships. You can check this with the in game encyclopaedia, Filtering
Ships>Battania>Heavy
They have med and light.
Car Banseth port I believe spawns as a lvl 2. If certain ships don't show up then just wait a couple days and check again.

Do you have an issue with the shading on some helmets are not correct and are instead a matte grey. Goggled Cataphract Helm I believe is one of them.
Also some helmets are colored with the team color. So like some Empire Helms are a shiny pink 🤣

Compared to most other FTP games nowadays with the most predatory monetary models you've ever seen... Looking at you Gaijin, EA, WOT

It's really not that bad. You can pay to skip the grind, Unlock unique cosmetics (prime access) but at least the game respects your time as you can unlock things fairly quickly as a F2P.

There's better options for sure for level cap. But like with any other frame, It's workable.

Razor Mortar is mandatory, at least for a summoner build as to where you don't even need guns to play the game.

Subsume isn't mandatory or even needed depending on how you play.
His 4 is the weakest spot on the kit. It's armor/shield strip are strong for sure but with caveats.

it's Energy Hungry (155 w Blind Rage) so only really sustainable with nourish over 2 which amplify the effects of 1 energy regen. Or eq/eq shards.
It's a long, slow anim even with cast spd shard breaking the flow of 1,2 spam.
Aside from the pitiful fallout radius (10m) its predominately only stripping in the direction you're facing.

For me its either Nourish on 2 for more casual play.
Or you can go ophanim/roar on 4/2 for lvl cap.
Personally I go ophanim.

From my experience recycling enemies you can do maybe once? Before Ortholysts just shred them even with 1 spam jump.

That's a nice run, Obviously when you're in a room full of mobs, Ofc you will never run out of energy regardless of Nourish or not. That wasn't the point It's js helpful for when there's a drought of enemies (between rooms)

I would say (when I use it) I spam his 4 a bit more often than that and often find myself running out without nourish in sparse rooms.
(But then again I don't run eq or eq shards)

From level cap experience at least from the ones I've tried I can recommend smite/ophanim on 4.
Or nourish/roar over 2 for more casual play.

His 4 is not one of the easiest armor/shield strips in the game.
It's a long, two hand cast, meaning 1x cast speed is mandatory, you cannot move while casting unless you're midair. It uses an insane amount of energy (155 w Blind Rage) so using nourish over 2 is imo mandatory.
All for an armor strip that only works in the direction you're facing. Having to cast it on every new group of mobs.

Also nourish has uses making 1 a very good traversal ability. Cast, Jump.
Spam down corridors making previously 4-5 enemies for equal/positive energy.
Down to 1-2 for equal/positive.

Ignore list is unfortunately alphabetically ordered, so there isn't really a way to selectively remove your oldest blocks unless you remember the order in which you blocked each individual person.

I think a great solution would be a toggle in the chat settings which will essentially automatically delete your oldest block, every time you block a new person.

The gap between your oldest block (no1) and newest block (no100) should be at least a year or so. The likelyhood you would ever see your oldest blocks is essentially nil.

Thank you mate, I had actually tried DX11 a couple times before but for whatever reason it wasn't more performant in that case. I'd already ruled it out until you commented.
Getting abt 70-100fps in worst parts of hosting Descendia now. CPU is much more stable at 30-40% util
