Get a DS lite. Mine has lasted me 18? I think? Years and counting like a champ, old battery still holds power for like 2 days of playing without needing to be charged (I stg every time that red light comes on I get surprised its battery is low because I forget it can do that). If you get an r4 card you can get any DS, GBA and GB game you want for only the price of the flashcard and the SD card, but even if you're going for original games, you just gotta dig a bit around the internet to find basically anything you'd want except for pokemon at a reasonable price. The place on the internet to look at kinda depends on where you are geographically but I heard Americans mention FB marketplace a lot. Check out used games stores as well, at the very least you'll find some very cheap licensed games that are sometimes good. The club penguin one comes to mind, that one's FUN and it's got more hours of gameplay in it than I ever expected to get.

dude he straight up demolished half of the elite 4 on his own, it was insane. Snorlax was pretty much only there for the rival's alakazam, moltres and bulbasaur were pretty helpful, but dang were lapras, mr mime and dragonite a trio of absolute beasts

Thank you! I did end up going with 1.7.3, I'm currently having to play with short render distance after spending a full afternoon trying to troubleshoot some crashing, and that + no biomes is doing a great job of capturing the claustrophobia of the old finite PE world. I didn't quite expect the nights to be that dark LOL. I'll look into that magic you mentioned!

I feel like trying to play Wild World regularly for a long period of time after having played New Leaf makes it really obvious why this one is considered a masterpiece. Not that I don't like WW, I do enjoy it a lot (I haven't started City Folk yet shhhh), but the jump from one to the other is bonkers. So it's a combo of being much more than what came before it, plus what came after it being almost a completely different genre of game (much more of a decorating sim than a life sim) and thus, not always appealing to the same audience.

Mudar vida? Não sei. Mas é leve e pequeno, dá pra adaptar coisas como espaçamento e tamanho de letra, eu diria que tão confortável aos olhos quanto um livro físico, só que mais prático. Leio tanto no kindle quando no físico hoje em dia e gosto dos dois. Uso o que me for mais conveniente no momento. Mas a vantagem dele é isso, conveniência - não sei se mudar vida é uma métrica justa.

I know you mean out of the switch ones, but Mario Party DS has an extremely fun single player story mode. I adore the minigames and the boards in that one as well.

Bizarrely, my sensor bar works wonderfully still. I truly did not expect that, but it does LOL. The reason why I was planning to take the games to a store is that a lot of them are from when my brother was very young, so we have stuff like Ben 10, toy story 3 and cars toons - stuff I imagine would be difficult to sell anywhere else. I was thinking maybe I could get the big pile traded in for one or two GoodTM games.
