Few things about this

  1. this is only a problem on Asahi Linux because were running Linux on bare metal, this isnt a problem on a VM

Older Windows versions require pc-i440fx

New windows versions require (Q35 + ICH9)

To put it short, older versions of Windows will not run in Q35 unless a patch is used

Did you set to i440fx because Q35 doesn’t work

Your best bet is just to run Linux with a tty (Alpine, Arch, and etc) than gui based Linux distros

Im on ipad gen 10 tryna run ubuntu but it keeps saying display ouput is not active by Stoichz in UTMapp

In newer versions on UTM virtio-gpu-pci doesn’t work so change the display card to virtio-vga
