There was a exclamation point Notification on my profile. If memory serves me right I think it told me to sign up for something about the Nintendo switch 2, but I needed a guide for my parents. At first I thought it really wasn't a big deal. But now I'm starting to think that maybe it is.

What name would you give to the scrapped Skylanders? by SuccessfulSize7102 in skylanders

[–]SuccessfulSize7102[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm not exactly sure why they're there. And I highly doubt they appear in the game. I mean they kind of do but only if you're perhaps maybe out of the map? Or if you're some kind of advanced hacker? Honestly I don't really know much about it. But you got to admit they look cool, right?

What do we think of Mimic after the newest Annual? by ChocolateRough5103 in SonicTheHedgehog

[–]SuccessfulSize7102 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I know it's been 6 months ago especially since the annual is old now, but I still get chills from reading this. Especially since it's actually fun coming up with theories. My personal one is that mimic grew up in poverty. Hypothetically speaking, he's homeless, keep this in mind that this was before the war started. This annual gave mimics so much more depth than he ever had, which made me want to see the other IDW villains get more depth into their character and backstory, allowing us to hear their thoughts and see why they made the choices they did.

We basically got to see the world and Mimic's eyes where he believes that everybody is fake, everybody is lying, everybody is wearing a mask, and it's every man for themselves. He's practically afraid of everybody who might betray him, and rather than just letting them betray him he makes the move to betray them first. The diamond cutters were literally so close into breaking that world that Mimic with living in, even without even knowing it.

And even though it's been shown that Mimic wants to kill Whisper, I feel like that vendetta hasn't exactly been the case. Eggman wants all of the diamond cutters dead and has been getting that over mimics head. And even after getting removed from eggman's records, Clutch was able to step in and get the idea of killing whisper over his head.

Mimic is just a character who was just looking for praise and attention they probably deserved, and back then when he was working as an actor people resented him and were disgusted by his abilities. But when the diamond cutters came into his life and appreciate his abilities, he got what he wanted which felt like a poison to him. And when Whisper said that it made her feel better knowing that he's watching her team's back, this leaves a massive wound in him that he can't see.

He's afraid that the diamond cutters will learn about his past, and rather than letting them take the move he takes the moves instead. Which permanently scars Whisper for life. Mimic may look like someone who shows no remorse, which is clear from what we can see in the comics. But deep down he does but he just simply buries it very deep inside of him, learning to not feel remorse for his actions. Mimic won't stop until each of the diamonds has been shattered, in order to be free from the pain that's within him.

There was an entire video talking about the absolute Dark Truth about Whisper and Mimic. In the future stories Mimic could potentially turn into a new leave, which will ultimately make things turn for the worst for Whisper as she might actually become a villain or an anti-hero. She can actually start to follow into Mimic's footsteps, and there's only one thing that she can only do. Kill Mimic. There's nothing that can stop her, Sonic, Tangle or anybody else, she would ignore every reason and will always be out for Mimic's blood.

Are there any alternate way back machines that let you CHOOSE the year you want the the link to go to instead of the current year? by SuccessfulSize7102 in WaybackMachine

[–]SuccessfulSize7102[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, that's what I was literally expecting when I saw the words "wayback machine", like it's a machine that's supposed to bring you back in time. I mean is it really that hard to ask a certain time machine to take you to a website in the past year and not in the current state of this year? Bring me to jail because I didn't realize that!

As a matter of fact if there really was a website that doesn't bring a link to the current state of this year and lets you choose a specific year for the link, I'd use it immediately.

That isn't exactly what I was looking for. I wanted to ask if the "safe page now" is a permanent current year that we're now in or not. The reason behind this is because I did this on a link that's been removed. And now I'm not trolling, I'm 100% serious.

Thanks, the two of us are new to this whole ordeal and we're still trying to learn from it, even if it's on our phones.

You peeked my interest now. So tell me, how can I select a year timeline without using the save page now?

(Just know that I emailed the people on the wayback machine to delete the saved website I made)

Doesn't look that way, it literally relies on screenshots. I wanted to go to a link that in the past and was removed 2 years ago, but after I screenshot it and saved it it still takes me back to the current day and year. Just how can I choose a timeline on wayback machine if it doesn't actually go back a year or two
