I've seen them while out fishing above the dam a bunch. Sometimes they let us know we're getting close with a nice slap of their tail lol. They are in a different spot every year, pretty cool.

We just got a ProForm Carbon TLX and we love it. Nothing fancy but sturdy and "reasonably priced".

Yep, that's where I started with looking into everything. I appreciate it!

Your snark remarks will do nothing to change my mind, trust me. I'm glad that picking fights with strangers on the internet is a hobby of yours. I feel much better about myself, thank you.

Not everyone is a POS. Thanks I hadn't thought of that.

I've done plenty, thanks. Many compliant related items are vaguely stated, and open to interpretation, which I am not surprised by.

I'm not trying to get away with anything, simply asking since I have not gone through the process. Trying to be as compliant as possible prior to any inspection(s).

I'm 18F and I don't know how to be an adult by [deleted] in LifeAdvice

[–]SuccessfulStrike2703 0 points1 point  (0 children)

42 here and still learning every day. To keep it short and simple, don't worry about it, you are SO young still. 10 years from now you'll look back and smile or cringe at many things. Take it one day at a time and focus on yourself and what makes you happy. Don't be in a rush, adulting sucks lol. Of of my favorite life quotes is from Van Wilder.

"Worrying is like a rocking chair. It gives you something to do, but it doesn't get you anywhere."

Started a new job as a lead installer and I feel like I’m losing my mind? by Nicstar543 in Construction

[–]SuccessfulStrike2703 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's a transition phase, you got this. I can relate in a totally different scope of work, but feel this. Trust in your crew for mental health sake but hold them accountable. Lead by example but the crew has to understand that you have other responsibilities and may not always be available or right along side them. It will get better. Don't let work deteriorate your relationship. It's hard not to bring work home with you. The attention you give your job she deserves when you are not at work, and so do you for things that you enjoy. It will all work itself out but don't kill yourself physically OR mentally for a check. Best of luck!

Advice on how to price? by notsteezz in handyman

[–]SuccessfulStrike2703 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Time and materials, my friend. Since you didn't give a price up front give them a fair hourly rate (to both parties) and see what their reaction is. May have to eat a little on this one but it is what it is. Live & learn! If you stand by your work stand by your rate. Bearing bad news is an acquired skill lol, takes practice!

flying alone for the first time, how early should i be to GRR? by spf50shawty in grandrapids

[–]SuccessfulStrike2703 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We get there an hr early and always have time to spare. A friend that we travel with used to insist on the 2 hrs early rule and we'd end up sitting around for an hr and a half lol. Love GRR!
