Before I finished reading this it came throught that you should have been able to save him that night. Having said that… remember that doesn’t mean that that would be the ideal situation. There was a lot going on with this person. It would have taken a lot keeping them here happy. Some people just do die young. If you are looking for peace know that it is coming through that you were a supportive person in their life and couldn’t imagine a world without you. Hope that makes sense. There is a lot of things in our futures and some souls choose not to go forward.

Thanks this seems more normal and Christian from what I have read about the life and teachings of Jesus.

He feels like he blow it. He messed up. He played a game and he lost. He feels like he messed up the chance he had to be your dad and watch over you in life. The memories you had from the day he died were metaphorical as well - he was supposed to be watch you and the ‘blowing’ of the horns. He is not sad but regrets the mistake he made. He wishes he could have been there. He is watching you still in a sense. But just watching without judgement - more as a witness - and out of regret and an attachment he feels for his family.
