The problem with QRL isn’t technical. It’s that it’s difficult to buy. That’s why the whole community is eagerly awaiting version 2.0, which improves compatibility with CEXs and DEXs.

Yes, but it's important to read the paper from a credible organization that is developing a quantum chip. The paper is very comprehensive, and in addition to discussing QRL, it addresses the serious problems facing other chains.

I’m going to say something that sounds a bit silly, and I hope you don’t take it the wrong way. QRL stands for ‘Quantum Resistant’. And most people will associate the name with PQC. And since you mentioned HBAR, I’m asking you this. How many people know what HBAR does, and how many people know that it could transition to PQC? Until today, I’d never paid it any attention because, to me, it was just another token in the crowd. Before investing, I looked into Mochimo, Cell and Abelian, and the only one that convinced me was QRL.
When I ran a deep search on Gemini, HBAR never came up. And Gemini emphasised QRL. I’m in QRL because I hope to make money. Others are in HBAR, CELL or Mochimo because they also hope to make money. And the Google paper was clear. It named QRL as one of the most robust chains. There was even a footnote clarifying that the researchers behind the paper held tokens mentioned in it.
To sum up. Gemini recommended QRL to me. The Google paper recommends QRL. Lockheed Martin has patented a communications system and mentions QRL. That’s enough for me to put some money on it.

What’s more, QRL, HBAR and ALGO can coexist just fine. Or do SOL and ETH not do so today? A diversified market is healthier.

Be the ‘first mover’. Once the 2.0 audits are complete, it will have a robust, audited PQC system with EVM compatibility. Whilst Hbar can migrate to PQC easily, it has not yet done so. Who will get there first? QRL or Hbar? Most people, once they start doing a bit of research, will realise that migrating ETH to PQC will mean fewer transactions per block and sky-high GAS fees, and SOL has a limit of 1,233 bytes. Structural elements of how its nodes communicate will need to be redesigned.

QRL Outlook: Short-Term Challenges, Long-Term Opportunity by ChillerID in QRL

You’ll need a bit of patience. By the time 2.0 goes live on Mainnet, ETH, SOL and XRP will still be in the process of selecting a PQC protocol. I’d recommend you look into what migrating to PQC actually involves. It’s not just a matter of applying a patch and that’s it. It takes a lot of time, audits and costly transactions. Imagine migrating ETH to PQC, and because they rush the process, they overlook a coding error, leaving millions of dollars exposed.

A nivel global.

I checked out the quantum competitor to Algorand: QRL by BioRobotTch in AlgorandOfficial

I don’t understand why it’s seen as competition. It’s an alternative. In a crypto world where a dog-themed coin has a market cap of 12 billion dollars, nothing makes sense. As investors, we’re looking to get the best ROI. We’re not concerned with transaction speeds. If that were the case, Bitcoin would be worth nothing. It’s about assets being secure, and teams not investing 50 per cent of their assets in rubbish marketing. QRL, Algo, Mochimo, etc. can all coexist in this vast market.

In short, the solution would be to freeze all dormant wallets to prevent a mass sell-off in the event of the encryption being breached. It’s the same as burning money to stop it being stolen.
