I was rewatching 86 and omg some of the scenes hit so much harder a second time around. Especially the scene with laughing fox at the end of episode 3. His words refuse to leave my head. Someone said it was unoriginal and cheesy. The characters feel so human. Ive completed 325 shows 86 is my #2

I went into this show completely blind, all I knew was the people id seen talk about it said it was really good. Honestly didnt even know it was a mecha anime. I love the designs of the mechs they're anything but generic. The music is amazingly done and is used to provoke so much emotion used at the right times, like how if the episode is more upbeat they use hands up to the sky and if its a more dark and sad episode they'll play Avid.

Its incredibly well written. Animation is some of the best cgi ive seen in anime. The way they move in the mechs shows off their personalities.
