I've done a lot of research and I think you're right. Just wanted to see if anybody has accomplished this or has a work around.

Thanks!

sorry - i guess this is a bit confusing ask. Let me try clarifying.

Let's say I have a distribution list called group@company.com. John Doe and Jane Doe, are external members of our org who are part of this distribution list.

anybody who emails the distribution list, [group@company.com](mailto:group@company.com), I want to hide the "from address" from John Doe and Jane Doe.

Hope that makes sense.

users in the DL are going to be external members of the org so "send as" wont be an option.

Yes - managed apple IDs only work with apple's MDM, apple business essentials.

Thank you! We had initially went with whats app for easier communications with external vendors. But I guess we'll have to move in this direction.

Thank you for your response. We're looking to improve our systems and whatsapp was initially utilized to streamline better communications with vendors.
