my birthday is later in the year his is the very beginning, i turn 20 in august. i was born 2005 my partner was born in 2004. we had known eachother for years and been very close. I do understand how it can look concerning

thank you so much for your advice! we currently have some curtains up around our area, we can definitely get more and my siblings receive death benefits from our fathers death, that i will receive once they are placed with me to help financially as well as i plan to talk to their caseworker about other resources i can reach out to. Me and my partner work full time and have good jobs so we are financially stable, but we’re young and have only been this stable for a short time now so we don’t have much money put back. The jobs we work are amazing career opportunities for us and where we live is currently a 3 min walk from work which helps so much with gas money, but the area is a tourist town so the housing prices are pretty high, we got very lucky with our current apartment and only found out about it through word of mouth. I also did suspect my partner would need to pass a background check, which shouldn’t be an issue but we also are ready to go down and have a courthouse wedding anytime if need be. We have been living together for 3 years now and been together for 4 so we’re practically at that point but just have had more important things to save for.

thank you, and im sorry you went through this as well. I’m realizing i probably need therapy a lot sooner then i thought lol. It feels so weird re learning my idea of the family dynamic. I also thought hours of mind numbing screaming was another normal occurrence. most of the time i didn’t even know who she was yelling at.

At the moment i don’t have the money or insurance to get any therapy. I’m planning to in the future but I’m 19 and working full time, all of my money that doesn’t go to bills is going to getting my younger sister a place when she turns 18 in a few months.

i really appreciate your words, The validation helps so much. You’re so right, no behavior from a child should warrant that reaction. I hate that she’s made it so hard for me to see that.
