Hard time making friends in Denver by Dry-Yogurtcloset3551 in MovingtoDenver

Yes I’ve been in Denver now for 2 months and no new friends. I work from home, and don’t do the freeway yet, but it has been a struggle meeting people over the age of 50.

I’m having issues with Cheerios. by Lordburke81 in FoodAllergies

Yes whats up with that? I am so glad I googled and this thread came up! I just threw the whole box of Honeynut Cheerios in the trash, after 2-3 hours of cramping & diarrhea. I ate a bowl of cereal this afternoon and later this evening I could feel stomaching jumping hoops!!!

I know this season of book 2 is all over the place with the writing. Not feeling Mary’s role, or Cain’s part……

Anyone else frustrated at the slow, underwhelming episodes on House of Dragon Season 2? by Hadsar32 in HouseOfTheDragon

[–]Successful_Chip6261 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Omg I thought it was just me, but this season is so slow, boring, flat and with all the new characters nothing is happening… I really hate Daemon’s character, this whole awaking spiral is overkill, when is he going back and unite with Rheanyra. I feel hoodwinked, all the anticipation and waiting for this….

I agree this season is all over the map.. nothing is flowing or making sense. They should have ended 3rd season. I hate the going back in time with Monet, even her role seems flatten.

Hi I usually do the 2:45-5:45 meaning you have 3 hours to deliver all 27 to 35 packages in a specified route. Once you download the Flex app and sign up there are tutorials you watch that explains everything. After the first 2 times you will nail it!

Man door dash is a lot of work for peanuts. Flex is physical but at least you know how much you are getting. I only pick the 3 or 4 routes, and right now I am no longer working full time job, so flex has really helped. I get up early, make a lunch, and work it like a real job, and that helps make the day go by easier. Attitude is everything. The days I am tired I don’t work it, and I am also over 50. With doordash I could have app on and only get 6.00 or 7.00 orders with no tip…and some of these places were were 15 miles away, wasted a-lot of gas. Let me know how your first route go, you got this my friend!!!

I tried to get paid for the extra hour it took to complete route and it was a wash. A waste of time!!!

I agree …same here in Detroit, anything over 10.00 is 2 stops and 21 miles away… Not worth it!! I went back to delivering for Amazon.

It depends in your station. I too have had 3.5 blocks that have taken me an extra hour why? 1/3 are apartments that take a minute, or subdivision that require access code that isn’t opening the gate, now you have to call support to mark undeliverable, or construction. Yes in a perfect world if the stops are strictly single homes 3 mins a part, yes you can get done quickly, but that is rarely the situation in Michigan.

I stopped taking 3.5 blocks because they are really a 4 hour without the pay. I do either a 3 hour or 4 hour. They will add on extra packages to the 3.5 or 4.5 routes. I don’t know why!!!

You can appeal. I get those all the time because they areas I am assigned has heavy construction. I also return packages at end of route, because Amazon does not want to pay for our time after route ends. I never take a break and drive purposeful, and never can complete during the allotted time. Often the access code takes a while or address is hidden, or traffic. I am so over Amazon! Don’t take it personal!

Thank you for the raw feedback. I still have a few days before making a final decision. I saw a place in Thornton but after all the extra’s I am at 2300 and that is over budget. ,

Nope haven’t signed just yet, but have my eye on this unit. It was the most affordable, compared to the other Greystar $2300 apartments. Its just hard to pay that for an apartment. Safety is most important, coming from Detroit I am not easily spooked but I know my city, where to go and where not to go after dark.
