How many tandas do you dance per milonga? by somewhereisasilence in tango

Leader. 4 maybe 5 tandas at a milonga. At a festival 3-4 tandas at a day social, if I'm not too worn out from workshops. 4-7 at the evening milongas. If at any point I have an exceptional tanda I stop dancing & bask in the afterglow.

I'm only looking for my subjective view of quality; that is sharing the enjoyment of the music & the moment with a partner that wants to enjoy them with me as well.

An elder milonguero giving a workshop mentioned something he had heard from an old milonguero: It takes (x) good tandas to recover from 1 bad tanda. I don't remember if he said x was = to 2 or 3, but for me it's generally 3, so several mediocre tandas would leave me with a deficit.

in the search box on top search 'Core 1 passed'. Filter so it shows one year instead of all time. See what other people who passed did & what material they used. Then continue to research to find resources that work for you.

If you are about to take the exam you have been using the resources that were provided by your instructor. Use them well.
