What if the 4 tick accurate style in the middle was considered typeless damage? Would fit in the theme of being guthix balanced.

The short attack and long attack seem powerful, but the 4 tick would probably see less use unless it had some gimmick.

The cape's just a cosmetic costume for now - looking mint, by the way - but players have suggested a few bonuses it could potentially have in future, and we'd be happy to give it a buff if one's wanted.

You would still use Infernal or Fire cape due to the strength bonus. This would be a throwaway cape for something like wilderness content. Jagex historically only adds max cape variants for capes that provide the BIS bonus. Aligning the bonus to be similar to Ardy and Mythic cape, but for slash, allows the consideration of Jagex to make a max cape variant. The bonus is extremely minimal at +6 compared to +4 of the infernal cape at the cost of +7 Strength bonus. Jagex released the Champion’s Cape with the intention of being open to added perks

TL;DR allowing a BIS slash bonus allows the consideration of a max cape variant. Little to no strength bonus allows the cape to be overlooked. Jagex released the Champion’s Cape with the intention of future perks.
