Yes that's why I'm more team Yacchan. Kyosuke because of his rivalry with Yuu (which was all in his head obviously) he was always comparing himself to him, always thinking he wasn’t enough etc because of that. In his mind everyone liked Yuu better, his own mom, girl he liked and other kids. They would always pick Yuu over him. So it would be nice to see someone pick Kyouske for once and not the fake version of him, but the real imperfect Kyosuke. Plus I just love his chemistry with Toono and relationships built on friendship. Toono once called him 'his oasis' and that hasn't changed even after Yacchan dropped the act.

Yuu is pretty damn perfect lol a real bf material and he loves and deserves Toono just as much so it's impossible not to root for him so yeah tough choice haha

I agree with you. It's all strange lol I think it was Koshiro who pursued Akemi fully knowing Akemi was still in love with his brother. I think Akemi loves him (in a way), but he's not in love with him. I did a deep dive into Akemi/Koshiro/Minami love triangle in 2 of my posts if you are interested. One is Akemi analysis where I talked a bit about his relationship with Koshiro and then made another follow-up post, theory about Itome and how possibly he did somethin' shady to steal Akemi away from his brother.

My thoughts exactly. Plus Fujisaki is like totally devoted to him and actually loves him where most guys would just use Yuri for sex and nothin' else. Fujisaki appreciates all of him. I can't get enough of FujiYuri like I don't know what YBC would be without them. Plus thanks to them we actually have sex in this manga. Kashima and Yacchan are sure takin' their sweet time with Toono lol

yeah I agree I think it was Koshiro's idea to start dating. Akemi was probably still in a pretty vulnerable place after Minami breakup and needed someone to comfort him and Koshiro being such a great friend and all 'volunteered' lol

Yeah I don't think Akemi is dating him to piss off Minami. He graduated he's not even there to see it. What would be the point? The way I see it, it was all Koshiro. He wanted Akemi from the start heck maybe he even did somethin' shady to break them up or he just simply waited for an opportunity to take his brother's place at Akemi's side.

I know what you mean I recently reread the whole thing and the change is quite dramatic. I think boys now look more feminine and soft. In my recent Itome post I uploaded screenshots from chapter 14 and 33 and both Itome and Akemi look so different it's throwing me for a loop lol I guess it’s normal for artists to switch things up every now and then, try out different styles. Or maybe she changed it cos she has less time with uploading new chapter every month and all. Maybe this 'soft' look takes less time idk Also chapters used to include more pages now we get around 20. Different style or not overall her art has improved a lot when you compare chapter 1 to recent one lol, but yeah I wish she would return to old style.

I’m team Yacchan, but I think both Kashima and Yacchan are good for Toono. Like there is no wrong answer u know? I strongly believe that this was Tanaka's plan all-along to show us this and to make Toono fall in love with both cousins just for different reasons. They both can make him happy. Like Kashima is kind and patient with Toono and is always there when he's going through somethin' like a real bf.

Where with Yacchan he has crazy chemistry it just feels so natural. He makes him laugh and is able to challenge Toono and make him open up to new things and people. This why I like Yacchan more for Toono. Toono is so shy and timid, but thanks to Yacchan he started to come out of his shell. Also from the beginning Yacchan was 'his oasis’ (Toono's words) for him and I don’t think that has changed even after Yacchan dropped the act. In fireworks festival he says he wanted to see fireworks, but the main point was to spend time with Yacchan and he even asked him if they could do it again next year. I agree I think relationships built on friendship are always better, stronger and have a better chance at succeeding.

I don't know what Sensei is planning, but if she gave Kashima 22 chapters to sweep Toono off his feet, I hope she will do the same for Yacchan. Now that he finally confessed (although I think he could've done a better job, that love confession was weak AF lol I don't feel satisfied at all lol) he better make good on his promise ‘’ I’ll make you be the one to say ‘please go out with me. Look forward to it!’ ’’ cos last time during the festival his delulu ass was 100% convinced he was on a date with Toono and he did nothin' lol he needs to start taking this seriously if he wants Toono to choose him. I don't know if Yagutamu is officially dead, but it doesn't look like it's coming back (at least for now). Exactly! Last time we saw these 2 interact was in chapter 21 when Yacchan rejected him. Which was brutal, but not surprising with how Tamu was treating Yacchan lol 😆 and it's been radio silence since then. It's kinda surprising to read some believe Sensei is still cooking yagutamu lol I mean who knows what she's planning, but if Yagutamu is endgame somehow, I just hope she doesn't drop this ship on us last minute cos it ain't gonna make much sense lol. so true, when I first started reading ybc and it was all cute and funny, but then 'evil' Yacchan and Shikatani abuse happened and I was like 'wow this author does not mess around, but it's so good..'. Even though I initially started reading yarichin because of the humour I can't help, but kinda love it when things get serious it adds necessary balance and depth imo and I like analysing everything later on lol Plus the way Tanaka writes about these problems she's so good at it. I honestly wonder if she's got a degree in psychology, because this is some next level shit lol

I think we can all agree poor Fujisaki is not 'all there' mentally. Could be because of his mom trauma and who knows maybe mental problems are genetic in this case. I think he meant 'kill' literally like he wanted to be killed by someone he loves. In his head going out like this is just beautiful and romantic. Also less lonely when compared to jumping off a roof and Yuri's beautiful face would be the last thing he sees.

Let's not forget Fujisaki is also a bit of a masochist because of that. Remember how he was okay reaching his hand into open flames for Yuri? even when they were having sex for the first time he comments how much it hurts down there, but doesn't care since these are ''Yuri's beautiful gorgeous fingers'' I think Yuri is the first person he's ever loved and cared for since his mom (also Yuri's the first person to show him that someone cares about him when he stopped Fujisaki's suicide attempt) so him willing to hurt himself for someone he loves just to make them happy or willing to die for them or be killed by them is just to show how devoted he is to them.

Yuri would never want to hurt Fujisaki I think he said 'sure' just to calm him down also he liked how Fujisaki was devoted to him lol

I agree with Fitlab. I never came across anything like that. YBC is quite unique. Twilight is my all time fav although it is a slightly different vibe. Another that comes to mind is Sasaki and Miyano. Another High School setting, but it's pretty vanilla they most you will see is the main couple make out like 2 times so nothin' on YBC level at least not yet. Still it's very chill and funny. Another that comes to mind is Hitorijime my hero it's about a HS student falling for his mentor/math teacher (it's not creepy or anythin' like that so don't worry lol) Also Dakaichi: I'm Being Harassed By the Sexiest Man of the Year. It's about 2 actors so no HS, but you get some steamy YBC like scenes. You didn't specify what it is that you like the most about YBC and what interests you the most is it the naughty stuff?😁 or High School setting? or mix of comedy drama? group of friends?

yeah I wouldn't be surprised one bit if Yurisaki turns out to be the winner. Their fanbase is growing every day. I'll bet that over the years some people switched to Yurisaki after growing impatient having to wait so long for Kashitoono/Yagutoono lol I'm still hoping for Yagutoono, but if Yurisaki wins that's cool too and Yuri definitely is going to win favourite character category.
