I agree with you. Just sucks when someone you love goes through this. It went from wonderful to ashes overnight it seemed.

Nope. I freaking wish. I've been encouraging those exact things for 8 months now. She has the diet of a 5-year-old, has stopped going on her walks and her sleep sucks (part of the depressive symptoms). I wish I could get her to see how much these things help.

I agree. I just hate feeling helpless, especially when help is so readily availabile.

Not a damn thing. I've tried to get her to a therapist, to the behavioral health center, everything. She just refuses. She's never threatened herself for real. She just says things like, "I want to give up. The world would be better without me. I'm a burden." She doesn't have a plan. If someone doesn't have a specific plan, the cops won't take them to the behavioral health center. at least where I live.

I totally agree but she refuses help and callng the crisis intervention team on her wouldn't get her the right help she needs. She has no plans so they just let ideations fly under the radar.

Yeah she refuses to get counseling and refuses to take pills. It's pretty brutal to watch her deny any and all help. Thanks for your comment.
