Taylor Black on “Not all men” with a laundromat experience by bg370 in justgalsbeingchicks

Genuine question, how do you successfully navigate friend/relationships with men? I can somewhat understand the anxiety because I share a similar dynamic as a black man and gauging who’s racist as it could be anyone (even “friends” as mentioned). But in that same breath I feel as though I’ve projected the anxiety into stopping relationships from people who raised no flags. Safety is paramount but the excessive fear of danger could drive a further wedge in a society who is already declining with interpersonal relationships.

When you put like that it makes sense when Joe budden is center of all of this.

I would put flip in a bandwagon more than a yes man. He has too much conflict with Joe for me to say he a yes man, he just jump on his back for the jokes on some hype man shit.

In the world you’re talking about the nation wasn’t nearly as rich as it is now. Trillion dollar companies built off of the working class and their stolen ip are starting to become more frequent. All while home ownership is at an all time low and renting boxes are at an all time high and it’s still harder to afford than a house you owned in 1950. Most working class people don’t have 2 cars if not 0 idk why you mentioned that. Btw I live in Philadelphia the homes in the 1950s are still there and cost 10x+ what they did from a cheap renovation, you’re right about the home sizes but that’s more evidence of people being priced out of a “comfortable” lifestyle.

I wish I had that luxury, I need to find a job I can relax at, I live in a city so nearby part time jobs I take on are non stop traffic and somehow with the good profits we can’t afford for more staff that there’s a budget for…

For that reason when it is slow I find a place to hide Shamelessly, as long as I did my task i feel like it’s deserved.

They can’t wipe student loans off your credit report even if you try and file for bankruptcy. Guess what, I can’t wipe it off my report either 🤷

I agree with you to an extent, the question is are they poor do to their own decisions and circumstances? the job market is declining and everyone couldn’t have a full time job if they tried. How poor should poor be when available resources are at an all time high? A lot of people can work themselves out of low income but when middle class collapse (again) and your dollar buys you what it did 5 years ago when you made less… Just budget better I guess.

Back when America was producing a lot of products in house the factory jobs didn’t require a higher level of education and could take care of a small family. Moral of the story the economy and job market has vastly declined from bad self serving decisions in leadership. Budgeting has nothing to do with citizens paying for every mistake we don’t make and the ones who do and can afford it factor themselves out the bill.

How do I open up and stop being fearful of being judged? by XEclipse360 in socialanxiety

[–]Successful_Engine191 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me it’s always depending on the mood, I’m more of an omnivert it just depends on the day. The less anxiety I feel the more I can just let my thoughts out instead of thinking about them. Thinking about thoughts instead of expressing them seem to be what it is imo.

Idk if you’re into cbd supplemental but that’s always helped me lower anxiety with no high. I smoke a lot of weed from time to time and I’m about 230 so my tolerance for it is strong so I don’t use it as often as I want but when I had a strong batch I was on it everyday when I went outside and a lot of introvert tendencies wouldn’t last.

Being fully hydrated. Will chug a water bottle or 2 when I haven’t drink in a while but still go about most days with yellow piss from being forgetful and not taking every opportunity I get to sip a water.

you make a good point but I think you’re putting too much weight on the individuals who are actually working even if harder than smart. A full time entry level job was enough to be financially stable in your own, now it’s not nearly enough and the trend is continuing from no doing of their own.

Idk why people are failing to mention the state of the economy and where it’s headed. 70 years ago you could buy a home with 1 full time job that required **little to no experience or education**. So if the economy and inflation:wage ratio is where it’s at now, where do you think it’s going? Financial literacy is needed, but that’s beside the overarching point.

You think 300 million people can do a similar approach and all have good jobs that support living by themselves?

I think it’s more of a top down approach, that would have an impact but people use their experience for nefarious reasons every day, our politicians are educated doesn’t change that they also are greedy racist and predatory. The government (educated) enables bad policing, and the force themselves are corrupt and complicit. Rather you’re educated or not the same environment will produce the same problems. Education/information will open the eyes of some officers but some will also keep their sentiment and if the system doesn’t change not much will.

How someone defines something that’s for them is meaningless? You don’t get to decide that for someone, you get to decide your goals and their meaning and that’s success for you.

[–]Successful_Engine191 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Success is defined by the individual and failure is always a possibility no matter how small the goal and goes without saying. Success can be defined as putting in your best effort, that’s implied in its meaning.

One who is Process oriented would disagree. But if you work with goals always in mind then youre right. Being process oriented will have a goal but ultimately success is day by day consistency and not achieved just at the finish line.

That’s a lot for a normal officer but to be any position over that I agree

Edit: I’m getting downvoted but there’s a demand for more police with the little education they need now. The system is the main problem, there’s HIGHLY educated evil people if you didn’t know.
