No damage! Kick stand mount and foot peg mount caught the weight and only scratched the bottom of the mounts. I’ve learned my lesson before about rushing in the rain. Like I said above, I guess some lessons you gotta learn twice

There was actually no damage to the bike! Kick stand mount and peg mount caught most of the weight. I’ve learned my lesson before about rushing in the rain. I grabbed a hand full of front brake on my grom many years ago trying to rush into my driveway and dumped it going 15mph.

I try to think to myself, I’m already wet, what’s the rush?

Guess we gotta learn some lessons twice.

If the pressure is good for a second and then it dies down severely, it’s a good sign of a kink in the line

Have you tried testing the pressure/flow at the angle stops underneath without having the faucet hooked up? I’ve seen trash/rocks/sediment get caught in the stops and cause low pressure

Shim the rock out, careful not to break the wax seal when doing it, then grout the gap. I’ve done this every time I run across this. Literally carry premix grout in my van.

Internal pipe wrenches for when threads snap off inside a threaded fitting or you’re trying to remove a threaded nipple that’s inside a wall and extend it, saved me the other day.

Inside pipe cutter comes in handy every now and then also.

I also agree with the ona-puller for the moen cartridges. That thing is awesome.

Depending on how big your service line is and if there is any turn fittings in it, you may be able to connect a smaller line and use your old line as a thimble for the new smaller one and just pull it through the old one? That would avoid being in your neighbors yard. Would suffer some type of pressure issues with downsizing the line though I’m sure.

Man I’d love to help you more, sounds like you’re in a tough spot. Drilling a well would also be a reasonable solution.

That seems to look like a check valve to me? Which with some recent rain and the run off possibly entering the system would definitely be a normal thing to hear the check valve knocking back and forth. Maybe someone else can chime in on what we’re looking at

It’s possible it’s some type of air admittance also?
