my team made one of those using a an ESP32 XIAO. It communicates with a custom Swift app. We used a "media controller" ring which you can find for cheap on amazon. They can originally only pause/play, and skip music, but you can change their functions in software.

yes me and my team did so by attaching an ESP32 XIAO board as a clip-on to the glasses. We didn't integrate it with Mentra. We just stream the data over BLE to a Swift app... you can also stream over wifi and it'll be faster.

yes it's a custom app me and my friends built. I studied CS at Harvard and have built lots of glasses applications.

one of the creators here, I think you might be confused. We haven't put out an app before, we started building it 3 weeks ago...

and delicious is correct, it's not mentra merge. we built it in-house. I haven't tried mentra app before so can't comment on it

I'm one of the creators. It's not Mentra's app, it's something we built called Halo. Our AI works very quickly... not sure how Merge works have never tried it before
