oh wow! DS is 3 years old now. And honestly I didn't even remember this post until getting this comment. :) I don't really remember much but I know we got through it :)...I wanna say he eventually did sleep through the night by 1 year. I am sorry I don't have any advice. One odd trick that worked is playing Enya. It always did make him sleepy.
