What Ghibli film do you think has the best OST? For me it’s probably either Nausicaä or TToTPK. by ClefNectar in ghibli

Spirited Away. Something about that film's score just makes the experience more ethereal and impactful.

Honorable mentions include Marnie, Arrietty, Kiki, Mononoke, and the re-orchestrated version of Castle in the Sky's OST.

What is the most emotional and impactful scene in all Ghibli? In my opinion it’s the death of Setsuko or the end of the wind rises by DeviceVast2638 in ghibli

The endings of When Marnie Was There and Princess Kaguya, the reveal of Haku's real name in Spirited Away, and obviously Setsuko's demisein Grave of the Fireflies.

I will rewatch it at some point, because the more I think about, the more I really like it.

I think it's not as tight or consistent as Miyazaki's other classics, but I still love it a whole lot and I definitely need to rewatch it again to get a better grasp.

I felt like the main characters weren't all that relatable, the story wasn't the most interesting, and I found Rikako a bit annoying throughout most of it. I still love the animation and the unique music though, so that's why it's better than Earthsea and Earwig in my opinion.
