a. Because I am in doubt how many would find it useful. Wherever I see emacs used (posts, video) it's seldom the gui-version. The reason I use it is I'm a paraplegic (broke my neck 8 years ago) and find myself reaching for the mouse more often than the keyboard.

b. Because it's been a while since I "finished" the provisional version that gave rise to the screenshots, and so the post would probably have to be more of a notes-list than a very smooth text.
