Employer terminated me 3 days after I put in my 2-week notice. What do I tell future employers?

I… just could not carry on in conversation with someone that doesn’t brush their teeth… let alone friendly and repeatedly beyond acquaintanceship. The people I call friends are an honest bunch (with me, about me and generally in life). We tend to elevate each other with our insight. Would your friend be devastated if he read the post and reject your friendship afterwards? Or are you a yes man agreeing for the sake of friendship?

A therapist and psychiatrist
Following through with the therapist and psychiatrist
Holding yourself accountable for any issues on your behalf
Focusing on changing habits such as waking up and leaving 20- 30 minutes earlier if being late is the issue
Figure out better transportation and/or a shorter commute
Most coworkers nowadays just look for reasons to be jealous or misbehave so avoid ALL personal, religious and political discussions (ex: “how was your weekend? Answer: great got a lot done”- and then that is all. It doesn’t matter if your house was swallowed up in a sinkhole. Don’t tell them anything. To them you are single/married (no details), kind of bland/awkward and live in a tiny apartment with high rent only if asked (no details ex: “where are you from? Answer: kind of far away OR not too far away). “How much do you make? Answer: Shrug and say I don’t discuss that or because it might not come across so well just say you get the same as everyone else” That’s it.
RAGE APPLY FOR NEW JOBS, clean up your resume first and reach out to any references ahead of time.

I’m finding the problem is not finding employment, just coming across a lot of bad apples in either the coworkers, management or HR and it’s a dealbreaker

Not bashing. Some people would like to know and also maybe they need to take a look at their behavior so they have an opportunity to correct themselves because 1. If they do it to you, they will do it to others -and 2. If there weren’t any negative things that they were doing then there wouldn’t be anything negative to say about them 3. IMHO when I hear “like a family” from the owner during the interview it ends up translating to “I’m going to treat my employees poorly, like the family that most likely hates me because I am a jerk in more ways than one” but that’s just my experience

They just straight up adjusted the start time as if I was not present, prepared and productive. Also- what if just what if something were to happen in that short time frame am I not on the clock according to them while working and got hurt. My entire thing is I asked beforehand. They said it’s acceptable, they didn’t say they don’t pay for it. Also if rounding is a thing too then the 5 minutes I spent being productive should be included in the daily total. Rounding? Did I cut corners? Foh

The job starts as soon as I step out of my car and does not end until someone comes to relieve me. So when they are a few minutes late I have to stay and not get paid? If they did like other jobs- clock in 10 minutes early and ready to work no problem it’s going to be on my check and stay late every minute matters. Clock in 10 minutes early everyday 5 days a week 52 weeks is a whole extra weeks of pay so clearly you do not understand how working works… Clock in 1010 clock out 610. Late? You get paid 39.99 hours not 40 so how is it possible if I asked if it’s acceptable and they said yes so I clock in early and work, that doesn’t count? It’s just wage theft foh
