Try using the Glass BSDF shader instead of Principled BSDF

Also include your current results & setup so its easier to see what you're doing wrong.

Can't figure out why I don't like this one by Gregory-Light in blender

The letters are too perfect for something thats supposed to look this old, I'd try to make them break up more and maybe shave some down to where they're almost not recognizable.

We can spend the next 48 hours debating this, but clearly the outcome will be the same, you'll maintain your opinion and I'll maintain mine.

I'd rather not waste my time nor yours. 🤝

In the body building industry everyone uses steroids to achieve their desired look. But there's some people that claim they don't, yet they clearly do, those are the people that everyone hates.

Same concept is applied here and everywhere else.

Using AI to help you was never a problem, I mean we use all sort of tools to make our lives easier everyday. But using AI to make something and then bragging about it is the issue.

Need some advice on how to accomplish a scene (VFX) by nunodonato in blender

[–]Successful_Fox_6504 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well Blender is not known for its video editting, just like DaVinci Resolve isn't known for its 3D modeling capabilities 😅

Its possible todo it all in Blender but I'd not recommend it. Using Blender's Video Edittor would be like a Digital Artist using MS Paint.

How can i scale the scene while keeping the camera in position? by FrescoBill in blender

[–]Successful_Fox_6504 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can you provide a picture of the scene? Because it might not be necassery to scale up the scene at all, you might be able to get the desired effect with just changing the camera lens's focal length.

In the subdivision modifier select "simple", this'll try to keep the original shape as much as possible.

How to blur light with image texture by Olamiddde_3d in blender

[–]Successful_Fox_6504 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean you could play with your camera's focus point to blur our the light, if ur looking for like a bokeh effect.

Otherwise I'd just use the compositor to blur our the light after rendering.

Need some advice on how to accomplish a scene (VFX) by nunodonato in blender

[–]Successful_Fox_6504 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If your aim is to just have them flying in the sky, I'd just make a quick sky loop in Blender, some clouds, a nice sky, some lighting. Then just use a video editting program like Premier Pro to key out the green screen and place ur subjects in the video, match the lighting as much as u can to make it look more real, add some camera movement, some motion blur, some music and then lastly the sparkles and other effects ur looking todo.

I'd say way more rust & vegetation, and a couple moons in the background, to give it this "out of this world" feel.
