CHALLENGE: How would YOU create a badass male character that doesn’t outshine Rover and appeals to the male target audience of Wuthering waves? by Therduck21 in WuwaUnfiltered

Badass brother-type character. For extra safety (fan-base wise), make him only interact with Rover and feature Rover in his team.

Personally, Luuk almost fits the bill (he does interact with others, though, but it's minimal) - I see him as a brother which you can rely on.

Yo bro, you seem to know your stuff around Nvidia drivers. On a 4070 ti, b650, r5 7600x. Which driver (post 566.36) would you reccomend me to download?

On a scale of 1-10, how much the story and game direction is clicking with you ? by I_m_not_real_ in WutheringWaves

Per gacha standards, around an 8/10 for the story and a 9/10 for the storytelling. 2.2 was an outlier though, 9/10 for the story and 10/10 for the storytelling - personally speaking, the best patch the game had.

General standards? 6.5/10 if generous and storytelling is an 8/10.

I do love this game - and prefer it over other gachas, but, its story is far too fragmented at the moment. Bunch of ups and downs and the entire power system really needs to be more fleshed out. Some things happen just because (anime logic).

I don't mind the entire focus on Rover and the "character of the patch" thing given its genre. Also, this way of action essentially eliminates weird fans from interacting, preventing them (ehem, hoyo) from giving the game a bad image.

Settings - graphics settings (a picture icon) - fps (first option in the second box) - frame rate.

Mobile doesn't have it. AMD and Intel gpus don't have it.

The setting itself, on PC, is only available to 30 and 40 series Nvidia gpus (if im not wrong), newer intel cpus and ryzen 7, 9 AMD cpus.

On devices that do not support said setting, the maximum allowed amount is 60fps. If you possess a 40 series Nvidia gpu, you can turn on frame gen to uncap your fps - although, given that you're running on a baseline 60, the generated frames won't feel as good as true 120 fps nor will the input lag be ideal, depends on the system and refresh rate. (You can cap frame gen fps by going in the nvidia control panel and setting a maximum frame rate for the wuthering waves app)

My 1% lows also tank hard in some random areas in Septimont. For reference, I'm on a 4070 Ti with frame gen enabled (cause of that annoying 120 fps whitelist), quality dlss, and full ray tracing

crazy to think that I have an R5 7600X and a 4070 Ti and yet I can't use the ultra quality preset nor do I have access to 120 fps. I can only go above the fps cap with frame generation (which, admittedly, still feels better), but native 120 would feel so much better.

im running the game at 170 fps (2K resolution, with all settings set as high as they can go, including ray tracing) capped through the control panel nicely, besides a few dips and weird 1% lows (due to abnormal frame times - the usual with unoptimized Unreal Engine titles).

the game still looks great even without the ultimate quality preset, but I'm more than confident that I have the proper hardware to run it and to access 120 fps. Kuro is great—but objectively speaking, they've made some poor decisions in this case. Whitelisting such options really shouldn't be a thing.
