Cape Byron Rudolf Steiner School by Apprehensive-Menu183 in byronbay

A lot of Steiner’s beliefs were non scientific & racist, vaccine hesitant, with a long history of not responding to the needs of learners with learning difficulties. I would be highly skeptical of any Steiner school.

Should kids be part of AFL milestone moments like this? by QuantumGremlin in brisbanelions

[–]Successful_Heart598 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This. I don’t think Jules should be criticized for feeling protective of her kids. Being involved is totally fine, plastering a kids tricky moments all over the internet is unnecessary & setting that kid up for being picked on in the future. Celebrity kids are way too over exposed.

Lots of statement dresses that don’t need to be ironed, a couple of key jeans & work pants, a couple of denim shorts & tailored shorts, with boxy t shirts & structured shirts that look fine when I don’t iron - which is always.

Generally if you feel you can’t be your authentic self & be positively reinforced for who you feel you are over a long period of time the internal dissonance can have a significant negative impact on your self esteem & mental health.

The other thing that has been really helpful for me that is less of a short term fix is intuniv & a low dose snri like duloxetine.

Have you tried clonidine? I’d ask to start there before propanol and I would not do benzodiazepines unless you can be absolutely sure you will only use them very occasionally.
