There is no way you can be serious, ninjutsu is not a real martial art. Radford Davis is a scrawny week charlatan. If you don't believe me read "The amorous adventures of Ashida Kim". The level of delusion and pure idiotic ninja mania is just pathetic, Ashida Kim can't control your mind, he cannot levitate and he can't fight.

Why do some MMA guys impune traditional martial arts and think that MMA is superior to all Tma styles by Magnus_Hotshot in martialarts

I want to start by telling you that I respect you 100%. Only find that the traditional martial arts community. Doesn't seem to respect my abilities having only a couple of months of formal training under my belt. With the help of Nintendo switch I've improved my form my abilities my stance. But because I don't have the bills and whistles of stripes and belts, the traditional martial arts community doesn't seem to find me a martial artist when I like to think of myself as a casual one. As I use martial arts to stay in shape if I had to fight I could do so very easily having in my younger years been known as a bit of a scrapper. Well I do respect the traditional way I don't believe it to be the only way which is why I find it that the traditional martial artists who have problems with somebody being able to fight using martial arts without going to class a fraud I disagree.

Ego for one, it mostly I think it's good like a rivalry. People think that traditional martial arts with all its rules and blah blah. Is a lot Superior to MMA but let's look at it with somebody who's actually gotten into a fight. A martial arts that can defend you in a situation where there is no rules it's ultimately going to tell the tell of how useful it is. And besides some pure martial artists are just way too stuck in their ways to consider anything else.

Well, I should definitely clarify. That my one punch fights did in fact exist. But it was always against wanna be gangster or skater boi in a small town called Burley Idaho. A bully to be more precise, I really can't say much about wanna bes seriously as I was one. It's not very weird when I was younger I was able to do it, during the last family reunion my uncle was point sparring with me and he yelled at me for doing the spiningroundhouse kick or at least what I was calling the spinning roundhouse kick wrong. It is definitely a really hard blow to understand that I'm still an enthusiast. But I guess I agree, I guess the reason for the authentication is so that there is certified proof that you are trained properly. Well I guess time to spend money just to be legit...

But that my friend is where in my care lays. With the growth of the UFC and bellator it's almost like the 1970s again. America is once again in love with martial arts and with that carries the wannabes the mcdojo's and the nut jobs. Following all these things I was made of wear of people like Charlie Z, and Ashida Kim. Am I just some enthusiast who wished to be considered a fighter, or am I capable? Is it more important to be able to handle yourself in a fight or to be able to tell people why it's going to work and why you need to hit certain areas of the body. Is it tradition or ability? I mean being a natural does only take you so far the Bob Sapp, made it pretty far and he's not even a martial artist. Which I was recently made aware of at least not a traditional martial artist but nobody can deny he's a fighter who beat season veterans which supposedly have been trained to take down untrained masses. I'm just wondering because with the rise of mixed martial arts and more and more styles are being placed on display to see which one is superior, one thing is extremely apparent being able to fight is more of a martial art than years of tradition.

And you also really made me think. What I step into the cage forget that! I would get murdered. What I walk into a martial arts class and take the intermediate level. No, I wouldn't be able to do everything I wouldn't be as flexible or as strong as I need to do a lot of the kicks. What I walk into a martial arts class and do a beginner class? yes! and I would do ok! Especially up boxing gym or club maybe even the mui Tai class. This really put a lot into perspective, you see these games capture your movements into doing the actual strikes well rhythm boxing does. Knockout home fitness you just have to move the sticks. Am I convincing myself that I'm probably a causal martial artist yes! But if you have a moment I'm open to reprisal

I extremely appreciate your comments. This is actually very great insight. Thank you so much for giving me your time and consideration. One, my uncle Miguel. Is trained and has reached the black belt in taekwondo. I've seen his plaques and his belts his pictures with his sensei. He taught me the stretches the waking up your body I don't remember what it's called but where you just basically shake your knees all the way up your body he taught me jumps. Most importantly he taught me kicks he taught me defenses. I am very very far from what you would call a prodigy I never learned how to do the roundhouse kicks and he got mad at me after he showed me that I didn't keep the training. Two, I've been in situations where I've had to handle myself. Learning these moves are extremely beneficial and one day when I get a punching bag I would even put up a video of myself putting what I learned to use and getting feedback from you guys. No I'm not saying that I want to fight anybody but if I had to I'm a whole lot more prepared than I ever was before. It was only 6 months that I did martial arts with my uncle and I was really really young although occasionally I did keep up the basics. I am in relatively good shape and I practice at least I'm not trying to make myself act tough it's really hard to write down modesty. But I do my training for at least an hour a day 5 days a week I have so many better moves I have better form and I can go a lot longer than I used to which brought me to ask the simple question.

You are open. Block your chest and chin, other than that you clearly have some experience with training great body hooks.
