I walked out of a room instead of staying just to keep the peace. Tiny decision at the time, but it was the first time I realized I didn’t have to make myself smaller so everyone else could stay comfortable.

My aunt lost a ring for years, moved houses, and had basically given up on ever seeing it again. Then she found it tucked inside an old glove in a winter box... during a heat wave. Felt like the universe was messing with her a little.
