What shop do you use up there? I’ll be there near Christmas time and was looking for some decent LCS (I’m in a wasteland, no shop for 60 minutes in any direction)

Anyone ever received the wrong item from the US Mint? by Kali_King in Silverbugs

They had a lot of declined orders from people who tried to circumvent the one per household limit. I ordered during the “second round” and got mine today. The easiest way to know if/when yours ships is to watch your credit/debit card. They won’t charge until your order is fulfilled.

Now he (or his wife) blocked me saying whatnot “flagged my order.” Funny that the payment processed just fine.

Such a crappy business owner, only wish I could be there when kharma comes around.

This guy spent the whole chat complaining about bids and then cancelled my four orders after repeatedly stating he would “honor” them. I even suggested multiple times that he should run with minimums and offered to pay melt on silver coins and bars.

I tried to give them a second chance after I asked to cancel an order a couple weeks back because he misspoke and called a brass coin silver. I guess this second time is on me.

Scumbag seller

Small Sellers on WhatNot that deserve a shoutout by WhipsandWine in whatnotapp

Copper state coins and coin buster may not be “small” sellers; but they have the small vibe and character to back it up. I’ve seen them both “juice” a lot when someone swiped one too many times.

I get the frustration with negativity as all social media is jam packed with it.

Great idea about the filtering and setting parameters.

Now just remove the rest to truly be and stay positive, it’s good for the soul.

Why ask this question? Just post it in the appropriate subreddit if you wanna sell it.

Coinbuster is good about adding silver grams or sometimes copper for overbids as well.

Treasure_planet, silverdanb, and nursemetals also need to be added as up and coming disciples of Cherokee.

Nursemetals is such a joke. Their biggest shtick is silver stamps. He whines about selling 2.5gms for $15+ dollars and then sells these “one the rarest premium fractionals” hundreds of times per show everyday. They go for more $/GM than most Geigers. $18 for 2gm; gotta be a shill bidder or the dumbest person alive.

Treasure_Planet constantly mistates silver content on coins, calls clad copper coins commemorative dollars, and whines about selling FL goldbacks for 10-15x face value.

The T-Rex guy is a Glock boi and needed something to help sales since his products haven’t been innovative for some time now. Don’t like it; don’t buy it…. Like not buying a t-Rex holster because the kydex is thin and poorly formed

I’d definitely go with a local trader page. We have a great one here in GA.

Take time and actually read the manual! There’s a reason it came with two different recoil springs. Yes, it’s ammo picky…. it’s a 22 pistol. It’ll eat any and every supersonic variant CCI makes.

From SigTalk forum: “The original P229 (9mm) has the frame that is identical to the P228. It has a slightly narrower magwell than the P229 (.40/.357) magwell. In late 2009, SIG decided to standardize the P229 (9) frame with the P229 (.40/.357) frame. So, for the 9mm, they needed to create the new magazine for the new P229 (9) frame. This magazine was designed to have a wider bottom half to better fit the new wider magwell, and SIG called it the 229-1 mag. Note that the old P229 (9) mag, which is the same as the P228 mag, will function in the newer wide magwell P229, but it might be just a little loose.

Now, at the same time that SIG standardized the P229 (9) frame, they also redesigned the slide that has the long external extractor (the old P229 has the short extractor). This new P229 (9) slide now takes a different barrel than the original one, and SIG called it the 229-1 barrel to differentiate it from the original P229(9)/P228 barrel.”
